First of all, happy December…and where on earth has this year gone??

As a blogger, I encounter a good many “giveaway” opportunities.  I pass over most of them, but when I think my readers would really enjoy the prize (like last month’s KitchenAid stand mixer and prAna clothing prizes!), I figure, “why not?”  And who wouldn’t benefit from a pocketful of extra cash, especially this time of year?  So, I have one more for you…

In this “Very Merry Christmas” giveaway, one lucky reader will win his or her choice of an Amazon Gift Card or Code OR PayPal Cash for $400!  The participating bloggers are listed on the Rafflecopter form below, and there are multiple entry options.

How would you spend $400? I’d love to read what’s on your list…and good luck!  : )

This giveaway is open WorldWide and ends December 16, 2015 at 11:59 PM EST.

We will spend a quiet day home with the kids. I usually make creamed chipped beef over waffles or homefries for breakfast then we will have smoked standing rib roast and twice baked potatoes for dinner. My parents usually join us for Christmas dinner as well. thanks for the giveaway and Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

If I was the winner I’d spend it on my mom. Two years ago my Dad past away after being married for 50 years. She was his care giver. It wasn’t the same for her after. Then 3 weeks ago her baby sister my auntie on my gramma side past away after battling cancer for 5 years. My aunt didn’t want anyone to know so this was devastating for my mom to be shocked with her death. We had been trying to get a hold of my auntie for over a year with no response. We were planning next year for my mom to go visit her. Instead my mom had to fly back home for her services. My mom has lost weight. I’d like for her to get new clothes & treat herself if I were to win. Thank you.

We make a Christmas Eve buffet of white and red lazagna, garlic bread and salad. Then we spend the evening before Christmas Eve Mass visiting with friends and family. Then we all go to midnight mass together. A favorite time is afterwards coming out to a foggy eve. With a quiet night and all the Christmas lights on. When we come home we pick one gift to unwrap that early morning before bed.

We will open present at our house, have a breakfast and then head to my parents for a big dinner and family get together. After that we always spend the evening at home watching new movies and playing with new toys!

I think this year, we are just sticking close to home for a family Christmas, with just us & the kids. I want to plan some really fun Christmas outings; since we haven’t been able to go out and just have fun together as a family much this year. P.S. I made the “Aunt Glenna’s Flourless Fudge Pie you posted a week or 2 ago, for Thanksgiving. It was a huge hit! I’ve been asked to make it again, soon.

We open gifts with our kids in the morning, then in the afternoon we get our ham dinner started and the extended Family all comes to our home where we all exchange gifts. Then after we’ve all eaten… we have a Nerf war. Yes, everyone including the Grandparents get a Nerf weapon and then it’s pure fun and chaos as everyone runs around shooting Nerf pellets, darts and discs at each other. It’s so much fun!

Our family will celebrate Christmas on the Sunday before Christmas due to little children and travel itineraries. Rather than being alone on Christmas Day,we especially enjoy hosting friends who have no other place to share a meal on this special day while the rest of our family shares this day with other parts of their families.

As always, my mother hosts Christmas Eve for our whole family. On Christmas day, I will have my mother and in-laws over for a nice, quiet dinner. Merry Christmas to you and your family Ann.

Actually this will be a very quiet Christmas with just my husband & I. I will miss my grandchildren hugely. My son is in the Navy. We’ve been lucky & spent all but last year & this year with them. They’v e been in Japan since Dec. last year. We will FaceTime like we do frequently & we’ll get see & hear their excitement that way. We’ll have a very nice dinner since it’s just us, we’ll talk to our 3 grown sons who will spen Christmas together. We’ll enjoy the peacefulness & look forward to the.next Christmas we can spend all together.

We celebrate Christmas Eve & Christmas here at home, just my hubby, the kids & I. But then the day after Christmas, we’ll be visiting with family.
